I don't know what Mensa in the Angels organization decided that Kevin Appier
had become a throw-away but us Royals fans would like to thank you for being
our guardian "angels" and delivering him back to us.

Working on 10 scoreless innings in a row now!

This with a 30% torn ligament in his elbow. With off-season rest, supposedly
this will heal up and then, hopefully, he can really be his old self next
season.

We couldn't have afforded him without you.

Can we borrow those thunder sticks since it doesn't look like you'll be
needing them this year?

His torn ligament may heal by next year, but he'll still be a headcase
and a crybaby. His bad attitude wore out his welcome in Anaheim. The
Royals may win in spite of him, not because of him.
