Thanks for the info on public transportation. I guess I will be
driving. As I get off the 101, should I head for any particular
parking lot? My tickets are on aisle 158.

Are there any special concession stands that I should not miss? I
have had Fenway Franks, Chicago style dogs at Wrigley, crab cakes at
Camden Yards. So, what should I not miss?

Unrelated - are there any In n' Outs near LAX or near Santa Monica?

Thanks in advance for all of your help.

IMHO, Fenway Franks are horrible, boiled garbage.

At least they attempt to grill Dodger Dogs...there are "grill marks" on
them....they're pretty good, much better than Fenway Franks, but not great.

I would stick with the Dodger Dogs and beer. They also sell stuff from
Carls Jr., which is passable at the restaurant, but absolutely horrid at the
ballpark ('cuz it sits around under hot lights until someone is foolish
enough to buy).

And they sell Krispy Kreme donuts, if you're into that (not exactly
"ballpark food" IMO).

If you're in LA, might I suggest a trip to Tommy's hamburgers instead?
Great chiliburgers, and more memorable than In n' Out.

In fact, you'll probably be tasting them for several days afterwards.

If you get a Dodger Dog, make sure it's from one of the stands marked
"grilled". If it's boiled, it's not a Dodger Dog!

There's one directly north of LAX, where Sepulveda and Lincoln meet.
The closest one to Santa Monica would be at westwood village, I believe.

I tell ya what. This is REALLY unrelated, but if you want a very good meal
you need to eat at Titos Tacos in Culver City. The are at the corner of
Washington Blvd and Washington Place, and are almost always packed! I grew
up down there (in Culver City) and whenever we go back for a visit we make
sure we eat there. Their tacos (drool), burritos, and enchiladas and all
wonderful!

Go Blue!!!!

IAWTP. I've never understood why Tommy's always plays second fiddle to
In-N-Out in SoCal. Nothing against the Double Double, but the Tommy's
double chili cheeseburger is far superior. (A regular diet of either one
will put you on a first-name basis with a number of cardiac surgeons fairly
quickly.) If chiliburgers aren't your thing, fine. Move back to
Afghanistan.

The fries are better, too.

Tommy's was a favorite last stop on a night on in LA when I was younger
and doing the club thing. I was SOOOOO excited to see them open
up all over the place. Needless to say those franchise places are a
pale second to that one on the corner of that one street and that other
one. (can you tell I have never driven there myself). Standing at that
little counter (shelf) with folks in business suits, ball gowns, club
clothes,
sweats, pj's....etc... Cheapest dinner and a show in all of LA. <G>

The best dogs we ever had was in St. Petersburg, FL when the Cards
still did their spring training there. A Hebrew National grilled
(really grilled) and a toasted bun. A great day at the ball park
watching spring training and eating really good dogs.

Whenever any of us from work (a major AAirline) get to the coast, we
have to go to In n Out and get the latest t-shirt. It is sort of a
competitive thing.

I can get hot freshly made Krispy Kreme's 4 miles up the road, so that
is not an attraction. thanks for all of the info.
