Can anyone name a worse starting SS in
MLB than Jhonny Peralta?

The only good thing about the Rockies debacle
is that it was on so late that my boy didn't get to
see the lame, lame performances by Peralta.

Swept by the worst team in the NL....

And why DFA a catcher who played in zero games?
Why even bring him up ? Then, trade for a AAA catcher
hitting .193 ??? Well, .193 probably looks good to the
Boy Wonder now.

Trade CC now. The Cubs, Yankees, and Dodgers all
are in contention, are big money teams, and have starting
pitching issues. Just make sure that Peralta and Marte
go along for the ride. They look as bored playing baseball
as a kid in church for the second hour on Sunday...

This season went south fast, and hasn't changed direction.
All excuses about injuries are BS, as the team stunk before
they began.

what do you do if shoppach gets hurt?

that AAA catcher has ten years of MLB experience, supposed to be good
at handling a pitching staff and getting the ball to 2B - which are
the primaryt critereion for a catcher, what's the point of having a
catcher hits hits .270 plus if it means an extra run every game?

we've been spoiled by having players who can hit at positions which
traditionally have been "defense first" positions up the middle.
