What our season attendance is so far?

How about for 2005 and 2006?

Anyone have a good speculation about the season ticket base? 14k-18k?

Anyone have a good speculation on the # of seats sold for next season?

Attendance numbers for the past several years are available at:
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/attendance. Current average attendance
is 24,096. 2006: 26,582. 2005: 33,651.

The current season ticket base is allegedly around 16,000, which is a
drop from 22,000 in 2005.

I haven't seen any reliable info about sales for next season, although
Stan Kasten predictably claims that sales are great. (Which I suspect
they'll probably be, at least for the next year or two.)

Thanks for the link and the info. As for next years tickets, I wonder
how the suites are selling? I've heard that companies buying suites
will be able to use the suites for non-game/private events with
catering. This should be attractive to the numerous law firms,
associates, etc. littering the DC area.

The Times had an article about this last week.

"The team has drawn 1.7 million fans to RFK through 71 home games, and it
is perfectly reasonable to expect that total to reach 2 million by the
end of this homestand."

> How about for 2005 and 2006?

"The Nats drew 2.15 million last year even with the television issue
unresolved for part of the season. "
