He's still a waste! How many chances did he blow when he could have made the
difference in a game? Sure, he hits in games that are blow-outs but rarely
does he do anything in close games. I'm not saying he never comes through
but the odds are more against him coming through than not. Oh, by the way,
what goes up, surely comes down (OPS)!

Yins were griping to no end in April & May, but now that my
OPS is up to .774 and climbing, you're silent. That trade wasn't so
bad after all, was it?

Signed, Adam LaRoche

Stop right there. I just looked it up, and LaRoche's OPS is now tied for
45th in the NL. In other words, there are roughly 43 better hitters in the
National League alone. And the sad thing is, only one player on the Pirates
(Xavier Nady) has a higher OPS! How sad is that? Yup, keep drafting
pitching and defense.

The biggest disappointment I've had with Laroche so far is finding out he
likes the band "Big & Rich". Other than that, I never lost faith. Wink

Who cares what he did? He's hot now and the team's playing great.

Forget the past, Brian. Enjoy the now. Smile

Wow. I must be in a time-warp. Suddenly I feel like I'm in 1993. Or 1997.
Or 2000. Or 2005. Gotta love Pirates baseball!

Yep, I enjoyed the "now"... Adam LaRoach went 0 for 5 with 2 k's tonight and
left 2 on base. The old Adam is back!

A win's a win's a win! The guy's batting over .500 in July! Cut him a
break. Hopefully he's no Jason Thompson. Wink

Adam "the Roach" was 0-5 tonight with 2 more k's and 2 lob's. The old
"roach" is back!!! You go ahead and applaud his greatness; I still think he
swings in the wrong time zone.

How many people actually complained about the LaRoche trade? I know I didnt.
I know Paul didnt. We dont whine about everything that goes wrong. Of
course, people were pissed about his weak ass start to the season. But you
rarely saw people question the trade as a Littlefield dumbass move.
