i picked up roger clemens early in the season when an owner dropped him. the
other day i picked up bonds who was also dropped. today, i packaged them
both up in a trade for manny ramirez (while using the extra spot to pick up
jim edmonds). not too bad of a return for a couple waiver wire picks, eh?

Nicely done. I picked up Brad Hawpe after week #2, and trying to package
him and pitcher for Nick Swisher and an arm with a low WHIP.

Waiver wire pickups are easier to part with, because you have less invested
emotionally with them.
