Post subject: 'choe-nee' Figgins?

What is it with Jonny Gould? The rest of the world pronounces 'Chone' as
'Shaun' (or 'Sean' if you prefer), how is it that JG doesn't hear that and
calls him 'choe-nee'?

Bizarre.
