Another example of J.P.'s brilliance

J.P. on the decision to release John Thomson:

"We just came to the conclusion that he wasn't going to help us," Jays general
manager J.P. Ricciardi said. "We weren't seeing anything that we thought was
going to be an upgrade from what we had here. So, we just move on."

Right... all he's done tonight was throw 7 solid innings for KC against
division-leading Angels, giving up 2 ER. Much better numbers than we've seen
from Towers or Taubenheim...

Good point .. how does Towers survive with this team?
