So, my original assertion was that Pedro would barely win 30 games
over four years with the Mets.

He's got 27 wins right now as a Met, and he's experiencing more delays
in his return for 2008:

You could have some disagreement about what "barely win 30 games" means.
In the given context, I'd be inclined to include up to 32-33 wins as
"barely winning 30", especially considering the kind of hopes the Mets
probably had when they signed Pedro. Do you remember what you meant?
