Meanwhile, the Angels WON that game, Ms. Nemeth...and today's game
too. Vlad broke out of his 0-14 (or whatever it was) and has us back
on a two-game winning streak. And Bart pitched a pretty good 6
innings, so maybe his triceps are not toast.

As I write, the Cubs beat SEA by one run, and HOU is battling OAK in
extra innings. Go 'Stros!

The hapless 'Stros let another get away. OAK wins. How they continue
to win with such crummy hitting is beyond me. Their pitching is good.

yes we sure did! Adam Kennedy vs Minnesota, Troy Glaus bringing us
back against the Giants, Garret Anderson driving in the big runs early
in game 7, Percy getting Lofton to hit a fly ball to Ersty to end it.
