Bagwell, 37, whose right shoulder surgery was described by doctors as a
"last-chance option" to salvage his baseball career, sure has.

Not only is he available, but he is eager to DH.

"Oh yeah," he said late Wednesday night. "You can tell Gar that, too."

Has Bagwell personally informed his manager that he is ready to DH?

"I just told him," Bagwell said.

Not only that, the Astros legend said he intends to pester Garner "every
day" between now and Game 1.

"Every single time I see him," Bagwell said.

Ohhh man! I sure hope Bagwell can DH... he just wants to contribute and
be apart of this World Series. He has waited so long for this he
surely doesn't want to sit out now.

I could see Garner having Bags DH for at least a couple at bats, then
switch to Palmero.

I also heard this one. Biggio is the DH with Bruntlett at 2nd. Improvement
on defense. Bagwell just doesn't seem to be swinging the bat right, he's
not hitting for power anymore. Garner shouldnt put him in just because his
name is Jeff Bagwell.

Maybe not in the world series, but game 6 of the NLCS, top of the ninth,
pitchers' spot due up - I sure as heck expected Bagwell to PH, not Palmerio.
What a way to waste that last turn at bat. If he'd thrown the FANS and BAGS
a bone, and let him PH, it would have made the whole city just smile and
shine for days... if not weeks!
