It was just so irritating to listen to those Dodger hating TNT
announcers doing the play by play of the Dodgers game. It was
so clear how they all favored Chicago. Everything was Chicago
this, and Chicago that. In their words the Dodgers didn't win;
Chicago lost. They talked about Chicago not getting their
hits, not how great a game Derrick Lowe pitched, keeping the
ball away from the Chicago hitters and giving them nothing
good to swing at.
They did the same to the Lakers throughout the finals last
year, from the Western Conference finals to the championship
with the Smeltics. Listening to Doug Colling calling a
basketball game makes me want to throw up on him. Now TNT's
baseball announcers have also stooped to Doug Collin's level.
The Angel's game followed the Dodgers game on TNT.
TNT's roving, on the field announcer, is none other then Craig
"the slimeball" Stabber (Sager). Just as with the Laker's
playoff games, Stabber is wearing this god-aweful, hideous
looking salmon colored suit. He must have someone from
Lighthouse For The Blind picking out his clothes. It's very
surprising that TNT allows his to dress like he does. At least
the TNT announcers didn't seam as biased against the Angels as
they did the Dodgers.
It's too bad there is a slight delay between radio and tv. It
makes it hard to listen to Vinnie on the radio and watch TNT's
video, with the sound turned down.

I'm glad it wasn't just me. In the eighth, when they cut to the
announcers, Tony Gwynn looked like he was watching an execution. >> Stay informed about: How bad were the TNT announcers! |

I'm just curious if anyone tried to watch on TBS and listen to Vin. Is it
even possible? With analog tv, digital tv, and digital hd, everything is a
few seconds off and I doubt it would work. I don't get AM in my house.
Anyone try?

I'll try tonight. I wasn't sure if he was on the radio for these games.
The MLB.TV feed will probably be at least fifteen seconds off, but
that's OK. >> Stay informed about: How bad were the TNT announcers! |

Hmmm I was jut thinking with my DVR and some fiddling with the pause button
I could sync the video with the audio.
Unfortunately a busy family prevents me from seeing many games. >> Stay informed about: How bad were the TNT announcers! |

Tonight out of desparation (I don't have a radio receiver), I popped
on XM. The Dodger "local" feed was Miller/Morgan, so I gave the Cubs
home feed a shot. There was an audio delay, but hearing Ron Santo was
FAR easier than dealing with the schlocks in the box. HE even said
that Blake was safe on the bunt. >> Stay informed about: How bad were the TNT announcers! |
