I hear you Bill but what a performance. This guy has shades of
brilliance...if he can only harness the good.

They are back at .500! Let's see if they can build on this totally positive
weekend.

oh yeah, it was great. As is any complete game one hitter. But how many
times have Jays' pitchers come soooo close?
btw, How long has the CB had baseball? I only stumbled upon today's telecast
by accident, when I looked at TV Guide online.

This was CBC's first weekend of Jays broadcasts in quite a few years.
They have several more games on the schedule:

I thought they did a pretty good job, though having two colour guys
(Mulliniks & Barfield) got sort of awkward when they both wanted to talk
at the same time.

....and I was annoyed that we didn't see a replay of the base hit until well
after the end of the game, but, live baseball on broadcast TV is always a
welcome sight. I suspect that, as in the past, the Windsor station will be
blacked out when the local team is at home or on TV...
