Not before... during the inning...... Carroll was ovbiously not ready,
juggled the ball and the guy was safe at home.... changes the next at bat..
Mind you Biddle can't close under pressure.. Fine and dandy in May when it's
not that crucial, but lately he's been showing he can't cut it... this
brings up 2 points...

1) Why no make a move for Rod Beck ?
2) DId Zeile have diarrhea ?

I think San Diego is actually trying to reload for the new ballpark
(hence the acquisition of Giles) and is not holding a fire sale. Moving
Rondell was simply to make room for Giles.

Isn't Beck a free agent ? Won't they just lose him in the off-season anyway
