The Expos have a song originating from 1969 called 'les Expos Sont La"
in English simply "The Expos Theme Song" composed by Marc Gélinas -
there were no french lyrics orignally only an instrumental that used
to be played before each broadcast but in 1969 there were english
lyric composed .. it had been "mothballed" for year until last summer
when i contact the team I suggested they play as they used to .. well
they did for the rest of the year when the players came onto the field
... but this year it disapeared again .. I have a copy of the remake
done circa 1984 but not the original .. there is some Expos
footage/audio in the CBC archive available online and you can hear a
portion of the original song .... "Those Expos ..play to win, they
know the way to win, here comes a run for Mon-tre-al .. they got their
name from the fair, and brought evryone there and no everyone's
yelling play ball .. is that a band I hear? I want to sing and cheer
..."
