Wow! A front running, bandwagon jumping Yankee fan (aren't they all)
actually admitting that the Yankees were NOT New York's (oh, excuse me, as
he put it, New yorks) premier team!
One measly win against the best team in baseball and these arrogant
only-follow-the-money fans are chirping, and yet, in the end, it will be so
funny listening to then revert to shouting 26!* in a few months as they
watch the post season from their high chairs and see that there are no
beloved Yankees playing, even though they have more Hall of Famers and have
the highest payroll in baseball, and feel they truly deserve to win ever
game - yet did not.
It's nice to hear how they can relate to championships won over A HUNDRED
YEARS AGO. Living in the past, eh?
Oh, the perils of being a front runner. We know it's a tough life for you
losers when you have to come over here and gloat because you took 1 game out
of 4 against the Angels.

I posted a Query at ESPN and they are silent on the matter.
Anyone know how much the 2008 Yankees Payroll is up to at this point if
you include their luxury tax penalty (a direct result of their
overspending). I suspect some of their recent deals have upped the
amount.
Enquiring minds want to know.
