Yankees had a great team without Teixeira and getting him was more of
a luxury than a necessity. But in rushing to sign every hot player
this offseason, did the Yankees make a huge blunder? In two short
years Albert Pujols, the best hitter in the game, will be a free
agent. Yankees have Teixeira for the next 9 years and ARod at third
for several more years. Meanwhile by 2011, Redsox can put Youkilis at
third and Pujols at first. The Yankees didn't NEED Teixeira. If they
only showed some caution they could of had Albert Pujols

Are you serious? Where did you get your info that the Yanks were a
lock on Pujols. How much Christmas joy did you take in yesterday?

Why can't the Yankees have Texiera and Pujols both?

Where would they put him? Arod and Teixeira at the corners and Jeter
at DH. There's no spot for Pujols
