They say on their site mid-February. So it should be any day. My
question is why sign up so early? I don't usually draft until the day
before the season begins. Can't you wait? LOL

The smart ones sign up early for the later draft dates so that they can wait
out spring training and avoid drafting players who get hurt before the
season starts. If you wait to sign up with Yahoo, all of the good draft
dates right before the beginning of the season are full.

Drafting the day before the season is really too late -- no time to negotiate
trades. I would say a week to two weeks before the season. By that time, the
injuries that are going to occur in spring training have already happened and
the real major leaguers are being rested to avoid injuries.
