What does this group do during the offseason? Do we whoop and holler
for the BoSox until Spring, or do we anticipate the suicide of George
Steinbummer?

I tape football games (American football) and watch them over and
over, but baseball has so much dead time in it that it doesnt seem
worth the effort. Do you start at the beginning of your baseball
tapes and watch them all the way through, or do you fast forward to
the action spots? Just curious.

Would'nt have a spare copy of those tapes handy would you ?
Not that I'm a Jays fan but I was in Atlanta during that WS in '92 and that
was what stared my interest in baseball - chatting to the locals around the
bars watching the games was a big help getting to understand the game, the
rules, stats etc.

As for the off season I'm going to browse Amazon for a few books on baseball
that were mentioned in an earlier thread.
