It appears fanatics is officially dead, the name has been pulled. I know we were freeloaders there, but I'm a bit pissed he pulled it the way he did. From time to time, I'd go back through the old threads and had a laugh in retrospect. That's all gone.
This place is free and has its quirks, but we are the only game in town here. Joesodie has the appropriate pirates avatar - arrgh. If the problems here become too much of a nuisance for youse guys then there's that site where you can set up your own bulletin board at a nominal fee. There's the sorespot board and the yeahoos, which to me, isn't that great of an option. Boog and I aren't going back to the o_ther board - exclamation point - speaking for me. Orioleshangout is a big ocean for our group to swin in, and heavily moderated.
We could keep this thing of ours going a different way - through e-mail. It's less dynamic that way, functionally speaking, but in another way more personal.
These boards have been an outlet for me, to vent my frustration about the AngelO's and share a laugh One of these years, I may start a blog, but like Lennon said, 'life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans," and some of youse know, I've had a hectic year at times.
