The last 50 games as a whole has been painful to watch, I've had countless
times where I wanted to punch the kitchen door, but I thought better of it.
I've enjoyed the back to back wins over two of the best clubs in the Mahoj.
It's a shame one of Yanks, M's, A's, and Red Sox will miss the playoffs.

Hopefully tonight was the start of Hinske regaining last years form, because
up to this point he has been the biggest disappointment (I knew the pitching
would be awful coming into the season) this season. Even Towers ERA has gone
up to nearly 7 he got the victory. I still want to see Arnold get a couple
of starts.

Wells continues to amaze me with his defense, back to back games with
outstanding defense. Living in Vancouver I get to see a lot of M games, and
I think Wells deserves to get the Gold Glove this season (haven't seen
Hunter play though). If Wells stays long enough in a Jays uni, I think he
has a legit chance at the greatest Jay ever (Clemons couple of seasons isn't
long enough).

And that is the big problem, isn't it? <sigh>

Instead, just hope that Rogers sells to someone who REALLY wants to
win instead of be FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE/SECURE. It will be the only
way that a type of player like Wells will play (close to) his entire
career in TO.
