Two years, $6.25 million. And a $250,000 bonus if he gets 600 PAs
this year.

Yeah. I'll just say that if Willy Taveras and his .668 career OPS make
it to the plate six hundred times in 2009, that quarter million should
be going to fund a suicide prevention hotline for season
ticketholders...

Well, what they do with left field will tell us what the payroll ceiling is
with Mr. Castilini. Taveres doesn't bring anything to the table that they
didn't have in Chris Dickerson and Norris Hopper. That's just spending money
because somebodye said this guy was a "baseball player" a couple years ago.
