The Cubs played a rousing 8-6 game which indicates that the hitting is
coming around. Meanwhile, the lowly White Sox enjoyed their first no hitter
in about twenty years. That burly guy on the White Sox only faced 27 total
batters because he picked off the only batter he had walked. A decent
outing even if it was for the White Sox.

However, this is a Cubs group, and many of us couldnt care less about what
happens to the Sox. In point of fact, there are many who dislike the Sox
and hope they lose.

Now, as to the Cubs game---Their ace flopped again, and one of their best
relievers blew the game in the late innings. The Cubs lost their 7th out of
the last 9 games.

All in all, for many of us Cubs' fans, a pretty crummy day.

Even worse for those who are fans of the Cubs and the Bulls. Those
who also hate the White Sox had a really bad day.

Redeemed only for those who are also Sabres' fans.

If the Hawks can't (and that was fairly certain in October), then I'd
like the Sabres to finally win the Stanley Cup, although I wanted it a
bit more when Hasek played there.
