Vlad the contract

If Vlad re-signs with Montreal likely his agent will ask for a
contract with an out clause: if the team moves to an undesirable city
(Washington, for example) he becomes a free agent immediately. Vlad
would find that acceptable.

So no Yankees, no Washington, no other teams he finds repugnant for
whatever reason. That's the way it should be. At least one more year
in Montréal and another run at the WS right under MLB's disapproving
eye. And this time no agonizing 25 day road trips across more time
zones than most people know exist.

And we get to cheer for the funnest player in baseball, still.
