Vinny Castilla's D last night

Hey all, I finally had a chance to catch a Braves game on TV (only have
basic cable due to lack of permanent job...*sniff sniff*) and I couldn't
help but marvel at a couple of those slow grounders Vinny charged to make it
look entirely too routine. I know we've come to get used to some good work
with him over there, but after not seeing the Braves much this season, those
defensive plays look even better. I hope this continues in the postseason
because it's plays like that that keep teams in ballgames. He has been
pretty valuable at third in most cases I think...and he's even shown up with
a little bit of bat this year. I'm glad he made a turnaround.

One of the ESPN announcers (may have been Sutcliffe, blame it on him if
you feel like it) remarked on how he's spectacular at that play, wheras I
thought he was pretty weak at it (although it did look routine last
night).
