I don't have the stats, but I know Bochy needs to stop putting Velez
at the top of the batting order. His AVG and OBP aren't great to begin
with, but leading off, they're non-existant. Bump him to second even
when Lewis sits. His speed makes him hard to double up, so if maybe
Burriss is on 1B and Velez hits a grounder, he can reach on a fielders
choice, then steal second.

Lewis should be playing full time and bat lead off. Velez or Burriss
second.

Yesterday Bochy's lineup had Burriss , Bocock, and then Zito bat in a
row.
What kinda offense do you expect outta that?

The kind of offense you would expect if you put two AA-level minor
leaguers into a major league lineup. And Velez and Bowker are better
than Burriss and Bocock, but they're effectively AAA-level minor
leaguers. That infield group is rounded out by has-beens Aurilia (who
has, admittedly, hit a little better of late) and Durham, plus a
never-was Castillo.

This is the worst hitting major league infield I have seen in my life.
