What on earth is going on this year with baseball uniforms?!? Have all
previous restrictions been lifted and a Blue Peter competition winner been
employed?!?!
Am I missing something or is the Padres uniform a little insensitive seeing
as the war in Iraq only ended less than 12 months ago according to Dubya????

I couldn't even watch the game for fear of mortars being fired into
the outfield or claymores being used as basebags. IMHO I believe that
MLB are in cahoots with the Federal goverment and are preparing the
nation for all out war...

The Uniform was worn as a mark of respect to the Servicemen and women that
reside in the area, as it was Military Day.

The question is, did it improve their base stealing average?
