I get home from work, and like last night, check in expecting not so good
news......
Well, to my surprise, it's 10-3 going into the 9th, and I'm about to post
that I'm disappointed that the run total has fallen off from last night
when.........
The "C"s almost make me throw up in the desk trashcan...........
Goodgodalmighty........... Thanks to Brian and Austin, Tony and Ryan for
not letting Glavine off the hook......... >> Stay informed about: Ummm... |

Phew! The way you phrased it I wasn't sure that it, I didn't know if they
held on or not. I noticed it was 6-2 earlier, and didn't pay attention
given that it was Boston Legal's season premier, but then when I looked now,
wow. I don't think I ever remember Chief not getting a single out. Thank
goodness Rauch had the stuff at the end. Given that the 7th run was 90 feet
away, he earned that save.

So happy for Rauch here.......... I was flabbergasted that Manny let
Colome stay in so long, and I thought that surely Cordero had enough to not
let in three more runs...
Just wow.......... but,
"The Nationals won their 71st game of the season, matching their win
total of last year. " >> Stay informed about: Ummm... |

Not only that but they're 3.5 games ahead of Angelos' A**holes. Magic
number is 2! Suck on it and like it Peter!

How many pitchers does it take to turn a 10-3 sure win into a 10-9
squeaker??? Good grief! At least they won. >> Stay informed about: Ummm... |

Manny should have yanked Colome a lot quicker than he did. Schroeder was
warming up, they should have brought him in. Sutton remarked that Colome
was taking 30 seconds between pitches! He obviously didn't want to
throw the ball. Batista and St. Claire both came out and talked to
Jesus, but Schneider never came out. What was up with that?

Yeah, that's weird. I forgot to notice that Colome had already pitched
the 8th. These guys are one inning guys for the most part. That's their role
and what they're psyched up for. Same with Chad and most closers in non-save
situations.
80% of the game is mental, and only the other half is physical. >> Stay informed about: Ummm... |
