No.

Props to your team. They are playing great.

But not time to panic.

Not unless we start having injuries to our starting pitching staff. Even
then the Tigers have depth there, unlike some teams.

I'm also a Twins fan, but I see no reason for Tigers fans to
panic at all. They are riding a comfortable lead in the division
and show no signs of melting down any time soon.

Meanwhile, the Twins and Sox are struggling through slumps,
injuries, etc. to stay in the Wild Card hunt.

The Tigers-Twins series starting in a couple days could prove
to be a very interesting one, though.

The Tigers aren't unreachable right now for the Twins or Sox,
but I would have to say that they are comfortable with their lead
....for the time being.

Are you panicking over the fact that the Royals and Yankees have smacked
your team around?
I find it funny that these trolls talk about the Tiger's struggles, but I
notice that neither the Whitesox nor the Twins can seem to catch them.
I guess you gotta' beat the Royals first.

No doubt. The Royals have been playing some pretty good ball
lately.

WTF is up with that? Wink

so do I, because, if they do, they're going to find it's too little too
late.

You're telling me that if the Twins swept the Tigers in a four game
series (not that I think that will happen, but there is a very good
chance at a split or the Twins taking three), that it wouldn't have
an impact on the division race right now?

Really? Think about it for a minute. The Twins are only four
back from the Tigers right now.

The head-to-head games are VERY important right now in
the AL Central, and it's definitely not "too late" for them to make
a BIG difference down in this final stretch, IMO.

therefore, not as important??

If it means they would take one more in the series against the Tigers
this weekend, sure.

I'll take a division win over a non-division win every time. Wink
