#3 - Chicago White Sox

One of the bigger surprises of the season, the White Sox have had
their core five-man rotation make 94 of 95 starts on the season so the
health of the pitching staff is obviously one factor in their success.

Key Injuries: RHP Bobby Jenks (back).

#5 - Minnesota Twins

Another AL Central surprise, the Twins have done it with a soft
approach, hitting only 65 homers (tied for 27th with two other teams).
On the other side of the ball, the pitching staff has been successful
while ranking 25th in baseball in strikeouts.

Key Injuries: RF Michael Cuddyer (finger).

If you have some time, check out Scott's link, and scroll down to #17,
the AZ Diamondbacks. Look at the key injuries, specifically the
injury to catcher Chris Snyder. I had never heard of such a thing.
Owie.

Well, if anyone was to get a 'testicle fracture', it would be
a catcher.

Double ouch!

Cups and helmets only offer so much protection... remember Morneau
suffering a concussion when beaned in the head by Villone three years ago?
It hit him in the helmet but he still missed several games...
