Twins fans staying even classier!
(I'm sure Scott was one of them.)

Oh yeah, let's not forget that the Indians pounded the Tigers last
night 9-4, lighting up Verlander (8-11, 4.49 ERA) for 6 runs.

Poor Verlander. He started the season really shaky, then seemed
to be turning things around....now his last two starts have been
pretty terrible. It seems that the Jekyll and Hyde nature of the
Tigers is effecting just about every player on the team. I still
haven't figured out their problem(s) yet. Leyland? Old age? The
bad air quality in Detroit? It's got to be *something*.

To top things off, they've got Inge calling pitches as the primary
catcher now....and Inge isn't even a true catcher. I noticed in
parts of the last couple Tigers games I've seen, that Inge
is a terrible catcher and he's often losing balls in the dirt or
they're bouncing out of his glove. I think he even said at
one point over the last season or two that he didn't want to
be a full time catcher. He's got to be a little irritated right
now with his position on the team. But, at least he gets to
be in the lineup regularly now, and he's a better bat than
some of the old guys. Wink
