fine by me. just have a look at this;
compare Inge to the 3rd baseman closest in games started (Mora of
Baltimore):
Inge has 485 total chances to Mora's 366, 347 assists to Mora's 265, and 119
putouts to Mora's 90.
How about the same categories for the 3rd baseman with the best fielding
percentage among those with at least 130 starts?
That would be Lowell of Boston, with 415 tc, 281 a and 128 po (probably
caught more foul flies).
AND, how about the guy who's getting the Gold Glove buzz, Joe Crede?
418, 307, and 101, with a fielding percentage 10 points lower than the
league leader...
In case your not getting the point, what all of this tells you is that Inge
has superior range to any 3rd baseman in the AL today.
