I'm in a 14-team mixed 5x5 head-to-head, starting 1 at each position, 1 DH,
and 6 pitchers...I'm 4-2, in a tie for first, with 12 of the other 13 teams
within 2 games of me.

I'm deep in C, SS, OF, and RP with:

C: Johjima, B. Molina
SS: Young, Vizquel
OF: Abreu, Ordonez, Rios, Hawpe, Jenkins
RP: Jenks, Ryan

I'd like to deal Vizquel, an OF, and either Orlando Hernandez or one of the
relievers for a stud starter...my 6 starting pitchers are:

Ryan
Jenks
Willis
Lackey
Millwood
Kazmir

The 5th starter is really only needed is a) one of the other SP's gets hurt,
or b) for 2-start occasions

Saves have not been a problem; and ERA is usually in the middle of the
pack...WHIP is always low, and K's and W's vary wildly.

Any pitchers out there that were very good last year, struggling this year,
but might bounce back? I doubt I could pry away a Santana or a
Mulder...maybe a Prior or Carpenter.

well, I'd say Prior or Wood you might have a change with (because of the
injury history) but CArpenter? no way, hes a stud whos pitching every bit as
well as last year (just doesn't have the wins to show it like last year
because of bad run support)

could also try and go after someone struggling right now (mabye ben sheets,
kris benson) not sure how many teams your league is, but you might even find
some help on the free agent list (I lucked out there last year with john
garland) good luck to ya.

I've got Sheets on one of my teams. I wouldn't say he's struggling as
much as he's struggling as much as he's taking up permanent residence
on the DL. Maybe Jose Contreras, since you know he just came off the
DL and looked good in his start?

I wound up dealing Omar Vizquel and Orlando Hernandez for Daniel Cabrera and
Luis Gonzalez of the Rockies...all are just reserves for me in case of
injuries...I like Gonzalez's flexibility...probably not going to affect my
scoring unless someone gets hurt.
