I'm not quite sure what to make of this trade. My initial reaction is
that the Braves have severely overrated anderson and the Astros are
getting servicable if unspectacular middle reliever.

It looks like the new Astros brass is clicking. Signing Yordany
Ramirez gave them the depth to trade Anderso. So basically they get a
MLB pitcher in the fold by trading Anderson for Ramirez on the depth
chart. Tht's pretty good.

The minor league numbers for Ramierz look worse than those of
Anderson. I fear (as someone on another board worded it), this is a
nothing-for-nothing trade.

Well, Anderson was close to MLB-level performance. Worth taking a
flyer on if we had nothing better. So, yeah, I agree that Anderson
for Ramirez would not be a good straight-up trade. But Anderson for
Ramirez as an Express player is OK, when you get potential bullpen
depth in addition.
