There's no denying that Texas also has an "inside" with the White Sox, just
as the rest of the west nearly always has.
Tomorrow's doubleheader is a tough test for the White Sox. Cleveland
continues to roll, right up there with the other wild card teams. The other
concern does have to be the home field advantage throughout the AL playoffs.
Boston is about six games behind the W.S. in their loss column - those are
games that can never be made up. As long as the W.S. steer clear of the same
total amount of losses, there shouldn't be much to worry about. I'd be happy
to get a split in Texas. To get a split in the series they'll have to win
one of the two games tomorrow. I don't foresee too much of a problem with
hitting, it's the pitching problems that they're having of late. And of
course Texas can hit.....
It would be nice if the team all ate their Wheaties in the morning. They'll
apparently need them to get ready for some serious slugging if they're going
to take at least one game tomorrow. It looks as though their bats are
starting to wake up - and if they can get fine tuned to driving the ball, it
would be a good head into the post-season. I'd still prefer that Griffey
stay in Cincinnati. >> Stay informed about: Always Another Tough Series |

Nevermind. They have corrected it. Originally yahoo was showing Marte'
as the starter. >> Stay informed about: Always Another Tough Series |

Brandon started and so far, so good. He's been impressive.

I see that now. 4 no-hit innings against a great offensive team thus
far.
