Start Rick Wise gets his second win of the season by pitching 6-1/3 innings,
with reliever John D'Acquisto blunting a seventh inning Met rally and Steve
Mura getting his second save of the season by pitching the final two

The opposing team managers in this 1980 contest were:

Joe Torre (Mets)
Col. Coleman (Padres)

Joe Torre compiled a record of 225 wins and 358 losses (!)
during his NY Mets stint from 1977 to 1980. That is a .388
winning percentage. Ouch.

The Padres won 73 games that year, to the Mets' 67.
