We could really use this game today (Sunday). A series win would help but a
much better face on our little skid.

Time for Lackey to bring it home agains another pitcher having a good year.

Time to ride our big horse to a big victory.

Done and...throw from right field (he's OUT!!!)...done.

Whew!

Another series win.

Good to see Casey connect. Hope he's back.

Meanwhile, the A's are killing the Billionaire Boy's Club, and
Hargrove resigns in SEA, the next-to-last manager I would've guessed
would suddenly resign, Scioscia being the last for me. My guess is
that Hargrove is battling depression, and I hope he gets the right
treatment. (Or maybe it's simply the thrill wuz gone?)

(When will Torre go?)

Angels WIN!

I too hope Mike Hargrove is ok. But I am also selfish. Maybe this will
cool off the hot Mariners team?

Richard M: I admit I thought the same thing. "Well, maybe it'll put a
tailspin on the Mariners, who are the hottest team in MLB right now.
Maybe it'll somehow monkeywrench their pitching? Somehow..."

Which is desperate, I know. But I really think the Angels are the
class of the tough AL West, if not the AL, period.

But those Ms have been doggin us, no doubt. No way M. Ordonez keeps up
his torrid hitting; watch for Ichiro to take over the AL batting lead
just after the AS break, and never lose it. (But if Figgy gets another
62 hits this month, we're talking a .400 season maybe! Dream on...)

Meanwhile the Yankmees are a hideous mess, and I couldn't be happier.
What's funny is they SUCKED so bad, then they won like, what? eight
straight? Their fans thought the team was finally back to .500 and on
the road towards catching BOS, only to see their Billionaire Boy's
Club revert to complete and utter suckage. Gosh. Such a shame.

The ONLY thing that really irritates me about the Mariners is the fact that
Guillen is on the team and if they come back to take over first in the West
that F****r is going to love every second of it and he doesn't deserve it.
He is just an A*****e! Otherwise I think the Mariners are a classy team as
well and things are definitely clicking for them this year. I still think
our advantage over them is pitching. We'll see...could be exciting!

I am with you, I don't think they have the pitching to hang with us for 162.

So has Guillen taken his pitchers to task in the press yet for not
retaliating when he leans into a pitch? If not, I lose, I took the under of
July 1st.
