Tiger Achievement

Last night (8/26) the Tigers did something they haven't done since the
first game after the All-Star break. They won a game that was their
second win in a row.

As much as Nate Cornejo tried to give the Indians a chance and as much
as the umpires also tried to give an edge here and there to the
Indians, they just weren't up to the task and Walker gets his third
save of the year.

Also of note was Brandon Inge who went 2 for 3. Since being recalled
from Toledo he has done a pretty good job of looking like a major
leaguer. Is this a fluke or has Brandon turned the corner? Time will
tell.

Other notable things: Monroe's golf swing that hit a pitch that
sailed into the center field seats;
Higginson leaving a total of 7 runners stranded - one was on 3rd;
Young getting his 26th homer;
Monroe making an insane catch in left field foul territory;
Santiago also went 2 for 4 and Klassen went 3 for 5.

All in all a pretty well played game by the Tigers.
