The ACC completes a "hostile takeover" of the Big East.

This will do alot to quash any rumours that college sports is
not about money.

I got to thinking that high school sports may be were guys play for
the fun of it, but there is the baseball draft and LeBron James...

Maybe it is Little League baseball.....

But The Sun notes the following:

"Two years ago, the Rolando Paulino All-Stars from the Bronx, N.Y.,
were stripped of their third-place series finish when record-breaking
pitcher Danny Almonte proved too old for Little League."

Jeez!

I guess lots of parents only take their kids to the games in the faint
hope that they may have hit the DNA lottery...

What do you call what the big east did to get 1/2 the teams they had. They
are doing it again with Louisville now. The ACC is the conference that will
now battle the big 10 and SEC for supremecy. They already DOMINATE
basketball and now football.
I am happy.
I would be happier if Angelos sold the Orioles to someone who gives a damn.
