| Sounds like Atlanta has made a fat offer to Texas for Teixeira -
Saltalamacchia, Matt Harrison, and Elvis Andrus. The only reason I
could see why Texas wouldn't make that deal is if they think they can
use it to get more from some other team that wants him even more than
that. Cross him off the Yanks list, if he was ever on it.

If it takes any of their upper level guys, I don't know about "crazy"
- Salty does look like a major league ready replacement for 'Tek who

Salty may be worth Bucholz because he would immediatly replace
Mirabelli and be the catcher of the future. Texiara for Bucholz is a

I woild never trade a pitching stud for a catcher. You can win with a ecent
defensive catcher who is not good offensively. Keep the kid.
