Tech Tops Vols at Myrtle Beach 8-5

Payback is sweet for Tech as they top the Vols (the nemesis of the '05
Super regionals in Atlanta) at the Baseball at the Beach Tournament.

Jeff Kindel homered while driving in four runs as
Tech scored five times in the first and added three more runs in the
fourth to defeat sixth-ranked Tennessee 8-5 in the Baseball at the Beach
Tournament at Myrtle Beach, S.C. Starting pitcher Blake Wood worked five
innings to get the win. Tim Gustafson pitched a scoreless ninth inning to
notch a save.
