Looks like the Royals fans don't care anymore: looks like about 1,000
scattered. I am probably wrong, but the stadium looks really empty. Nice HR
by Granderson!

They are saying Shelton's HR was 449 ft., but it looked like it hit the
truck to me - 450! If the truck wasn't in the way it woulda gone 460 feet.

It won't matter.

I have to be honest, I hope they don't fire him until after the season. He
is my favorite Tiger of all time and I sitll think he is a good guy. I
don't want to see him disrespected by being fired now, before it's over.

I am not saying I don't think they should make a change after the season and
as you can be aware, I am biased, so at least I am admitting it now. But
let him finish it off and then make the change.

I wonder if the players can look in the mirror. I mean, today is not
Trammel's fault, he had his closer in there. What the hell else can he do.
Unbelievable.

ah, this is so sad to me. I like Alan Trammell, and I ws hoping that the
finish would be good enough to allow him to come back next year, but. . .

It's entirely possible that you could type the entire '61 roster faster than
I can type Chico Fernandez.
