No, but I'm sure it stings a little less.
Watching the Red Sox and Tigers game on ESPN last night, I found
it humorous when they cut to shots of Dombrowski and Michael Ilitch
at different times during the game, and they both looked so dejected
and bummed out. Life is not good for those guys right now....and I'm
sure Leyland is hearing about it as well (and rightfully so).

I have no regrets over the Hunter deal. He wanted too much for
too long, IMO.
The Santana deal is another story. I think the Twins should have
gotten more in return, and shouldn't have held out so long on
pulling the trigger if they weren't willing to make him a legitimate
offer along the lines of what he wanted.

The Tigers are older than most MLB teams...and it frequently shows
in games this season. Those guys on the field don't have a lot of
range defensively.
The Red Sox are slightly older on average, but they really don't look
it, like the Tigers frequently do, IMO.
