Johan Santana 7-7, 3.01 ERA
Matt Garza 7-4, 3.47
Kyle Lohse 10-2, 3.67

That's a little depressing, especially since 2/3 of them were starting for
Minny last year...

Johan and Garza, yeah. I still don't miss Lohse, and it'll take more
than 10 wins to change that.

I miss all of em, though Lohse seemed like he needed a change of scenery and
a lot of his problems seem to be above the neck and therefore he could
implode anytime.

True, but Minnesota's pitching has been hanging in there, despite
the losses to the roster. It's certainly better than the Tigers
pitching, and their $130+ million payroll.

Thinking about those losses to the roster, and the injuries to Neshek
and Liriano, etc....the Twins pitching has been fairly remarkable this
season.

Add to that the spark that has ignited the offense lately, and you
have the formula for how the Twins are still in contention for the
division right now in July.
