Stanford 8 USC 3

Stanford bats came alive today and four pitchers combined to
lead the Cardinal to an 8-3 win over USC.

With Washington losing to UCLA 4-3 Stanford moves back into
first place in the Pac-10 by 1/2 game. However Stanford
still has a three-game series with Arizona State over
Memorial Day weekend. Washington's Pac-10 season is over.
If my calculations are correct, one win against ASU
guarantees a tie and two wins mean Stanford gets the
championship.

Barring unexpected disasters I'll be there for all three
games. (One possible disaster is the weather. Believe it
or not rain is forecast for the bay area later this week.) -
