Is there anyone out there with a flat screen tv who is having a problem
with the top of the screen where they show balls/strikes and score being
cutoff.

Yes, my widescreen does that too. There's four different screen settings
that I can use (Normal, Wide, Zoom, Wide Zoom). Wide Zoom provides the best
proportion while not having any bars on the sides . But it does cut about
an inch off of the border of the true picture being broadcast. I can still
see the score, but the top part of it is cut off.
