The Sox won again tonight while the Twins lost. The Twins have now
lost 4 straight and the Sox have increased their lead to 2 games.

I have nothing but respect for the Twins organization and the way they
consistently produce quality talent. I won't count them out till
they're officially out of it.

Obviously, I want the Sox to win but I'd also love to see the Twins in
the post-season as the AL Wild Card.

If the Sox continue on the pace they've set this season, they could
win as many as 93 games in the AL, the best league in MLB!

Just make it a 4 game lead (doubtful) by the time the Sox visit the
Twins.

I'm rooting for the Yankees so Bahston falls further back in the wild
card spot.

A two game lead with 30 games to go is not enough.
Let us pray for the Mariners today.

Same here.

Agree

The NL has been on a down slide in quality for the last
10-12 years. While I hate to say anything positive about
the DH, it could be that the NL keeps putting their no
longer fleet afoot lumber yard players in the line up
while the AL keeps them on the bench.

Hope springs eternal.

The Yankees are the enemies of my blood. But if they
were playing the Twins or the Red Sox in the stretch
this year, I might smile if they won.

In the loss column (most important)

Pierzynski? S.F. still wishes they had him back.....

I'll take a wild card anyday! Let's also give one to the Brewers!?!

93 wins won't be the best in baseball. I see Tampa and California tipping
close to the big "C" or possibly over it.

I see the Angels as the most potent team in MLB and would
be thrilled to get 4-1 odds on them winning the World Series.
Their major problem will be winning the AL against the Rays.
the White Sox and either the Red Sox or the Twins. Kicking
ass on the NL pennant winner is like arm wrestling with
your wife.

What the OP was saying was that the AL is the best league
in MLB. I disagree to the extent that the NL pennant would
would be a slim flavorite against the Triple-A champion and
thus may not qualify as an MLB league.
