Soso to japan?

today's Washington Post carried a 1 paragraph story that
Sammy So-So wants to end his ML career playing here, in
Baltimore, and that he's not interested in going to Japan.

I wonder it there's even a team in Japan that would have him
(in other words, is his return to the Birds assured???).

On a slightly different note, what are they going to do for
major-league outfielders? Matos, Sosa, Surhoff, Byrnes, would
not start for most teams (I'd say all of them, but you never
know . . . we got them here), and the FA crop is thin this year.
