I was watchig last night's recording of The Late Show on the CBS
affiliate out of SEattle-KIRO, I believe.

I usually just fast forward through the commercials, but I was sorting
laundry this morning, and I cam across a commercial that is a unique
blend of Seattle high **and** popular culture.

The commercial starts out with a black and white shot extolling the
virtues of public transit...

Nice going, Seattler. Why the hell back in 1999 when you were riotting
you didn't burn this guy's business down?

Seattler, honkforfonk.com is what you're all about.

It's true.

There is no debate.

Vern Fonk is all right- he isn't a crook. too bad you missed the Seattle
seafood restaurant's commercial - Ivar's Acres of Clams commercial was a
take-off on Dances with Wolves- only it was big clams!! running around on
the beach with some weird dude trying to catch them,They called it Dances
with Clams.. Hilarious!!
Seattle is a great town - unless you hate rain and don't like Norwegian
jokes... Uff da!!
