San Diego is like one of them horror movies where you think the thing is
dead; then there's a Dodgers/Padres series at year's end, and the thing
suddenly sits up, and mayhem ensues.

There's every chance in the world that before the season is over our Dodgers
will be looking at both their raised tails
as they streak for the wire.

Remember when I wrote last year that as bad as things were going, at least
we should thank our lucky stars for the Rockies who would cushion us from
the cellar?

Asking a question is not a declaration my friends. Now, had I laughed at
their plight, boasted of ours and laughed at their mother's, I may have
invoked the wrath of the baseball gods. Me, I just ask questions. Someone
